Luxellence Center and CP ALL Public co., Ltd, as a partnership between Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce, L'OFFICIEL and NEXT Beyond Research, have organized Thailand Luxury Symposium 2018 - “The Future of Luxury: Key Trends Reshaping The Luxury Industry”. The symposium is expected to be the special luxury conference for those involved within the sector and gather over 100 top international executives working in the luxury industry. This year Symposium will identify the Power of Millennial and Chinese Tourists, how Luxury Brands could upgrade in-store experience and the Role of Technology and What Luxury Brands Do to Influence Customers through Emotion.

Ms. Pam Thien is a computer science graduate with an interest in the luxury industry. In 2011, she acquired a graduate gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America. Pam has worked primarily with online media. At the age of 18 she founded the fair trade, jewelry ecommerce brand Her current role is Chief Digital Officer for Mass Connect Ltd., publisher of L'Officiel Thailand, L'Optimum Thailand, WOW Thailand, and Men's Fitness Thailand; she leads the company's internet-based social and electronic endeavors.

Mr. Julien Gaubert-Molina began his career at IBM in France and London to develop skills in operational marketing before joining Hermes in New York and Paris to support the development of and sites brand such as John Lobb and Puiforcat. During this period, he developed as a project manager, digital competence by participating in the redesign process of purchasing Hermes. He also acquires a luxury sensitivity by coordinating the productions photos and updates of editorial Hermès sites.

In June 2009, Mr. Julien Gaubert-Molina integrates Hermès Leather Goods division as head of European and Asian markets in charge of business development and operational collections. He also coordinates during this period the visual merchandising guidelines for Hermes Group and all the leather trainings program. Mr. Julien Gaubert-Molina has joined SAME SAME but different in 2012 as a Consulting & International Coordination Director. In 2013, Julien moved to Shanghai to support SAME SAME China development and then set up in January 2014 a new office for SAME SAME in Hong Kong office as a Managing Director for APAC. In 2016, Julien has enlarged its responsibilities to become the Managing Director for SAME SAME Greater China activities.




Prof. Denis Morisset is an academia who was an active practitioner in the luxury field. He worked 25 years in the luxury fashion industry and occupied various top positions including COO position at Ralph Lauren (Europe), was CEO of Couture House Pierre Balmain, CFO of Children Worldwide Fashion (leader in Luxury children wear with Burberry, Kenzo, Donna Karan, Timberland, Elle licenses) and CEO of Giorgio Armani (France & Belgium) from 2000 to 2004. Prof. Denis Morisset also acts as an in-house luxury marketing trainer and luxury retail trainer for luxury brands and luxury groups operating in Asia (Shanghai/HK/Singapore).  He is regularly invited to chair luxury summits and deliver master classes and keynote speeches in various luxury events or gatherings (Paris, London, New York, Miami, Sao Paolo, Dubai, HK, Shanghai, Singapore, Moscow, Seoul, Baku, Bangkok, Jakarta).

SWAROVSKI Consumer Goods

Business Southeast Asia and India 

Mr. Aymeric Lacroix was promoted and serves as the Managing Director of Swarovski’s Consumer Goods Business (CGB), Southeast Asia and India since October 2017 in order to unleash the potential of the region, capitalizing on the very successful emerging market brand-building and distribution strategy. In this role, Mr. Aymeric Lacroix is responsible for the implementation of the Swarovski Consumer Goods Business strategy in Southeast Asia and India and the development of the brand in terms of sales, distribution, marketing, communications and consumer experience. After Mr. Aymeric Lacroix joined Swarovski in 2005, he worked in different countries including France, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and Thailand and was responsible in many areas including managing and development of Swarovski-owned retail stores and partner boutiques, and developing new retail formats for the wholesale expansion of the brand worldwide. He has relocated to Singapore since January 2015.



Mr. Torsten Richter has 27 years Luxury Hotel experiences with an international Hotel experience in key regions (Germany, UK, USA, Thailand, Indonesia, and Maldives). Over his professional careers, he has received numerous awards and recognitions including ‘Best Waiter Award by Grundig Hotels,’ ‘President Award by Starwood,’ ‘Craft Trainer Award by Starwood,’ ‘Leading Starwood Mentoring Award,’ ‘Building World Class Brands Award by Starwood,’ ‘Starwood High Potential Program (GM Track by Starwood),’ ‘Extraordinary Effort/Innovation Award by Minor Hotels & Resorts,’ and ‘Revenue Management certified by Accor Hotels.’



Ms. Juthamas Carranco has almost 20 years of experience in hospitality industry, particularly in five stars and luxury hotels and Board Member of HSMAI (Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International). Over her professional careers, he has received numerous awards and recognitions including ‘Starwood Hotels & Resorts High Potential Program 2011,’ ‘Nominee for Asia Pacific Best Talent Development 2013, Starwood Hotels & Resorts,’ ‘Accor Hotels IHMP Class 2017 (Fast track GM development program).’

Mr. Francis Srun, Author


Mr. JEROME HERVIO, Managing Director


Mr. Francis Srun is the executive president of Ruyi International Group and Ruyi Holding Group General Manager. Previously, he had been Managing Director Pacific Asia for Maison Boucheron, a French luxury jewelry house. Fluent in French, English and Chinese. Mr. Francis Srun's international career path has seen him work in France, Switzerland, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. With over 20 years experience spanning both high end luxury sales and marketing, with houses like Maison Piaget, Ralph Lauren, and Boucheron and mass distribution operations like French hypermarket Carrefour, French press distributor Lagardère services, Mr. Francis Srun is a recognized expert in retail sales. In 2013, he published Vendre Le Luxe, the first book in French about selling luxury, presenting selling techniques and customer psychology. In 2017, he published anther book called “Luxury Selling: Lessons from the world of luxury in selling high quality goods and services to high value clients.” He is a regular speaker on luxury, Asia, retail and affluent customers.

Mr. Jerome Hervio has a broad international experience of research covering Europe, Africa and Asia.

Understanding the challenges faced by the research industry today, he found NEXT BEYOND RESEARCH in February 2018 to better answer to clients that want less data and more insights as well as speed and cost effectiveness. Mr. Jerome Hervio arrived in Thailand in 1998 and started two research companies in Thailand: Research International then IPSOS in 2005. Both enjoyed tremendous growth. During his career at IPSOS, he has always been in supportive of LUXELLENCE CENTER’s project development including the launch of Thailand Luxury Tracking Study and Thailand Luxury Symposium. He is a member of ESOMAR and former president of TMRS (Thai Market Research society).
